GOING BANANAS

We are now going bananas about mobile phones. We are like monkeys hypnotised by a special banana. In this original clown show for all ages and languages, we make fun of this new reality. Through fun and laughter, improvisation, mimicry, comic physicality and expert timing, the audience is taken on a journey back in to the real world in a show where no one can guess what’s going to happen next.

About Richard Handley

With a richly diverse performance background in a career lasting more than 25 years Richard has performed in circus, theatre, TV, International festivals and corporate events. ​​

Richard started his career in HK as an apprentice with Dr Penguin's Magic Circus. A Marx Brothers style comedic outfit. His first show was in a Vietnamese refugee camp!

After travels performing in China, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Nepal and Tibet he trained further in his art.

Studies include puppeteering with Director Peter Jackson's favourite puppeteer Johnathon Acorn.

Richard has also worked with Barry Grantham (Britains leading light on Comedia) in the Intentionarte Theatre Company and performed as the front man for the NZ corporate entertainment company Fabulous Functions.

Richard practices his work at the world famous Covent Garden and takes his acts to international festivals every year.

This year, 2024, he also created and successfully produced the first Pafos International Street Theatre Festival in Cyprus.
